Heated Spa
A heated spa is wonderful thing to come home to on a Friday night and hop into. At Aqua Living Pools when we are asked to add a spa to a pool we always suggest a heater be added to get the full benefits of the extra space.
Generally a spa will be heated to 38°- 40° this is most commonly done in two ways, with a heat pump or a gas heater. Most Spas of a size of up to 3m x 3m would be heated with a 13kw-19kw heat pump, switch manually or via a pool automation app.
Heat pumps are the most economical way to heat a spa, Gas heaters are generally used a booster heater they can heat to 40° ready for use in 20-40mins then be switched to a heat pump to maintain the spa temperature.
